Running in support of education

San Carlos charter school members run 140 miles, including through Dublin, concluding run in Sacramento today

Students, teachers and parents from San Carlos Charter Learning Center in San Carlos, ran through Dublin over the weekend on a 140-mile journey to Sacramento in support of public education funding.

The runners are with the public charter school and say they're running on behalf of all state public schools which are cutting programs and services due to lack of funding.

The run will culminate with a rally today at the state capitol building in Sacramento before Tuesday's election on propositions 1A, 1B and 1C.
