Unless you enjoy MEAN women, you don't belong here. This is a very tight knit group of WOMEN GONE BAD. NOT A RECOMMENDED COMMUNITY ANY WOMAN SHOULD JOIN.

A friend of mine stated that they are not the group they use to be and they are meeting new challenges with the newer group of mothers that exist.

I personally really enjoy my involvement with TVAM (Tri-Valley Active Moms.) Lots of really nice, fun, supportive women and families. The organizers of the group are awesome and there are at least 20 different events or "meetups" each month.

Google "TVAM" and "Pleasanton" and you should find it.

Well, groups are what you make of them. The PMC offers up dozens of activities every month. Laura, this group has over 500 members, so unless you've met them all, your statement about 'mean women' is way, way off, and honestly, pretty offensive. There are not-so-nice people in every crowd, but the judge the entire group based on personal experience with a few bad apples is so short-sighted.

There's a general meeting tonight at Mohr Elem. Rather than judge based on hearsay, why not come by and meet some of the women in the club?

I'm also a "Laura from San Ramon", and my experience has been quite the opposite. I've met amazing women and their families, and my son has made many friends. The events are fun, the online chat can be very supportive and informational, and there are a lot of different ways to meet other moms and find things to do with your child or children. No organization is without flaws or members who can be disagreeable, but my experiences with the PMC have been positive and the women I've met are friendly and welcoming.
