I-238 freeway connector re-opened after early morning crash

Heavily-traveled northbound roadway blocked for more than an hour

All northbound lanes have been re-opened on northbound I-238 after a collision involving four vehicles blocked all lanes of the heavily-traveled freeway connector at 5:45 a.m. today.

The California Highway Patrol closed all lanes while the damaged vehicles were cleared from the roadway. During that time, big rigs were allowed to travel on I-580.

The Sig-alert was canceled at 6:35 a.m., according to CHP Officer Aaron Quistad.
