Deadline today for mother, daughter look-a-like contest

Send digital photos to Pleasanton Weekly now for special Mother's Day event

In light of Mother's Day on May 10, the Pleasanton Weekly is celebrating the special bond between mothers and daughters with a contest.

Moms and daughters sharing an uncanny resemblance are encouraged to enter the mother-daughter look-alike contest in hopes of winning a gift certificate to a local restaurant.

Send digital photos to by Monday, April 20. Photos should be in a JPG format and at least 300 dpi and no larger than 1 MB. Photos entered for previous contests are not eligible and only digital photos will be accepted.

Weekly staff will choose the finalists and readers will be able to vote on which mother and daugther in Pleasanton look most alike. The first place winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to Faz restaurant and the second place winner will receive a $30 gift certificate to Strizzi's.

Look for the winners in the May 8 print edition of the Pleasanton Weekly.
