A Pleasanton man was arrested Friday evening after allegedly making threats against his neighbor at his home in Vintage Hills, police said today.
Officers responded at approximately 3:47 p.m. to an incident involving the suspect Mike Wheeler threatening a neighbor with a gun, according to police.
A verbal abuse took place between the two, after which Wheeler returned to his home, police said.
According to police, Wheeler reemerged outside a short time later and yelled to his son, "Give me the gun!" when he saw his neighbor. Fearing
for his safety, the neighbor ran back into his home.
Wheeler returned to his home as well but refused to come out when officers surrounded his house, police said. He was arrested 45 minutes after
the initial call and booked into Santa Rita Jail.

Thanks, Tom. Note to Pleasanton Weekly . . . a cross street, if not an address, is basic reporting.
