A town hall meeting is scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday to discuss Pleasanton teen involvement in drinking, drug and tobacco use. Ralph Cantor, coordinator of the Safe and Drug Free Schools program through the Alameda County Office of Education, will be the guest speaker. Other local experts, youth and community members are expected to attend and discuss the issues and a course of action.

The meeting is presented by the Alameda County Office of Education, Pleasanton Unified School District, Pleasanton Police Department, and the Amador Valley Adult and Community Education, and will be held in the Amador Valley High School Library at 1155 Santa Rita Road.
