A woman was robbed at gunpoint in her home in the 4400 block of Muirwood Drive by two males. Police said the robbery happened around 4 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7. The victim said the two men entered her home and demanded money before hitting her three times in the chest and once in the head. The two men stole her wallet, car keys and three TVs before leaving the house, police said. The victim said she saw both males get into her white 99 Toyota Sienna and drive away northbound on Muirwood Drive. The case is still under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this case are asked to call the Pleasanton Police Department at 931-5100.

Man dies in crash on Rosewood Drive Man dies in crash on Rosewood Drive (January 13, 2006)

Jaeku Lim, 34 of Pleasanton, died in an accident on Rosewood Drive near Borders Bookstore Thursday, Jan. 5 at approximately 2 a.m., police said. He was driving a 94 Infinity west on Rosewood Drive at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the car and drove into a street sign, according to police. The vehicle continued to travel west before it veered off the roadway and hit three trees before stopping. Lim was the only person in the car, police said. It is still under investigation whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
