Streetwise Streetwise (December 23, 2005) Asked at the Farmers' Market.

"What's your favorite holiday movie?"

Denise Simmons
Shearwater Court
"Miracle on 34th Street." I've watched it since I was little, and as I've gotten older, it means that much more. People seem to lose the meaning of Christmas and it's shown to us by kids. I like the original.

Andrew Pipkin
Bernal Avenue
My favorite holiday movie is "A Christmas Story." My favorite scene is when the boy drops a hubcap and says the "F" word, and his dad goes ballistic and his mom washes his mouth out with soap. I watch it every Christmas at my grandparents' house.

Connie Campbell
Livermore
"White Christmas." I remember watching it as a little kid with my grandpa, who loved Bing Crosby. I'm really close with my sister Tracy, so that song "Sisters" is one of our favorites.

Louise Simons

I love "White Christmas." It's a tradition for me to turn it on every year while I'm decorating. I was thrilled when it became a play. I saw it last year and it was wonderful.

Joe Reed
Independence Drive
My favorite is "It's a Wonderful Life" with James Stewart. We'd watch it as a kid, and time and time again, it makes you remember how valuable your life is when you reach out and touch others. <-Compiled by Sandy Christman
