Boutique benefits sick and injured animals
(October 28, 2005) The Sixth Annual Animal Lover's Boutique, a benefit for the Valley Humane Society's "Just Like New" fund, is taking place Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 3-5. The boutique features animal-related gifts from The Cats Meow Toys & Fashions, jewelry, greeting cards, home dˇcor, ornaments and more. There will also be a "litter box table" with inexpensive "just like new" items donated by volunteers.
The "Just Like New" fund provides medical services for sick or injured animals in the community. Through the fund, animals such as Honey, a St. Bernard who needed life saving medical care after eating poisonous mushrooms in the park, receive the medical services they need to survive.
The boutique is scheduled from 4-9 p.m., Nov. 3, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Nov. 4 and 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Nov. 5. It is located at 4510 Entrada Ct. Call Jackie at 846-2512 for more information.
