(September 02, 2005) Have gas prices changed what you'll do this holiday weekend?
Asked at Farmers Market.
Ben Hall
Fairlands Drive
They really haven't changed what we do on the weekend although they have changed what we do for vacation. It might affect us more now that we've just moved from Utah and a gallon of gasoline is 60cents more here.
Mike Frank
Stoneridge Mall Road
Not really. We like to walk a lot and do stuff outside, so we don't really drive. If we do, it's just to travel to visit family, which we'll do regardless. We cringe when we are at the pump.
Treva Rusiewicz
Pons Court.
They have affected our plans in that we try to plan our trips a little better. We rely on our cars so much. I think we'll just keep paying.
Shirley Ivaldi
Kottinger Drive
Yes, I don't go anywhere. I just stay in town. It's costing me $40 to fill up my car. I don't like the gas prices, and I don't know the real reason the prices have gone up so much.
Jacque Maxwell
Sierrawood Lane
They really haven't affected us yet because we usually stay close to home. It's frustrating when we do venture out and see that everywhere away from the Bay Area has a cheaper price. We were in Big Sur, in the middle of nowhere, and the prices were cheaper.
