Pleasanton's Randy Hahn, the voice of the San Jose Sharks, has replaced Mike Rowe as co-host of CBS 5's "Evening Magazine," with his first show giving viewers a look his own hometown on a broadcast scheduled to air last night in KPIX-TV. Shown here at Division and Main streets with co-host Malou Nubla, the two describe the city's historic downtown and work under way to restore the Pleasanton Arch.

Nubla and Hahn, who is on a temporary leave of absence because of the cancelled professional hockey season, also took viewers inside the Rose Hotel and the Wine Steward on Main Street and for ice cream at the Meadow Lark Dairy on Neal Street.

Hahn who is married to KPIX weathercaster Robert Gonzales, another Pleasanton booster, will serve as interim host of "Evening Magazine" until a permanent replacement for Rowe is found.

"Evening Magazine" airs each Thursday at 7 p.m. on CBS Channel 5 and is repeated 8:30 a.m. Fridays on UPN Bay Area.
