Anniversary

Howard and Gladine Barnhill of Pleasanton celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary Feb. 26 at the Ridge View Commons dining room. They are 93 and 91 years old, respectively.

Howard and Gladine lived in Hayward for more than 40 years before moving to Ridge View Commons in 1992. The couple has two daughters, Nancy Barnhill of Patterson and Delores Berck of Pleasanton, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The Barnhills lived in Lincoln, Neb., after they married in 1930 at the ages of 18 and 16. They moved to the Bay Area in 1936 traveling with their daughter Delores, who was an infant at the time. Howard also recently celebrated 50 years membership in the Masons.
