How will you observe Presidents Day? Asked at Farmers Market

Abigail Moore
Sixth grade, Pleasanton Middle School
Presidents Day is a great day to look back to think about how the presidents affected history and how we are thankful for them today.

Caitlin Mellberg
Corte Libre
On Presidents Day, I reflect on past presidents, one of them being President Roosevelt. I think he's important because of his influence on the American people, and how involved the public was with him and agreed with his views.

Judi Mellberg

Well, actually, on Presidents Day, I'll probably spend the day shopping instead of skiing this year, because the major skier in our family is having hip surgery today.

Justin Betts
Tapestry Way
I'll be in school, but I'll definitely reflect on some of the presidents I feel have done a wonderful job for our country and also think about some of the people I think can make our country better in the future. I think Abraham Lincoln was a fascinating president and Roosevelt was another great one.

Teresa Frichtel
Sacramento
I think that most of our presidents in our past have done a pretty good job governing our country. The past couple of presidents, I've been a little disappointed, so I'm hoping future presidents can pull it together. We need someone who can step up with a plan and improve our country. -Compiled by Sandy Christman
