Child Care Links, which acts as a link between government, social service agencies and families, is holding an orientation meeting Jan. 4 for anyone interested in becoming a child care provider in Alameda County. Those who attend will receive a certificate redeemable for an application packet and handouts with information about obtaining a license.

Child Care Links will also offer an overview of the services it provides to potential providers. There will be a $25 fee for anyone attending the orientation, including translators, drivers, family members and friends. Child Care Links is located at 1020 Serpentine Lane, Suite 102.
