Wedding

Christina Elizabeth Nystrom and Srikant Surya Mantha exchanged vows in two ceremonies on June 11 and June 13.

At the first ceremony, the couple was married at Palm Event Center at Mitchell Katz Winery. Two days later, the couple held a traditional Indian wedding at the Shiva Vishnu Temple in Livermore.

Christina is the daughter of Gustav Nystrom of Dublin and Marilyn Perry of Sacramento. She graduated from Amador Valley High in 1996 and earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She is employed at Ross Stores Inc. headquarters as a senior financial analyst.

Srikant is the son of Bhaskar and Veera Mantha of Pleasanton. A 1994 Amador Valley graduate, Srikant earned a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from UC Davis in 1999 and is currently attending San Jose State University working toward a master's degree.

Christina and Srikant became friends in high school and became engaged in November 2003.
