Pleasanton Junior Football League scores and highlights from Oct. 23 are: Junior Contact Division Ravens against the 49ers

The Ravens defense of Joseph Agharanya, Evan Martinez, Kyle Moreno, Cody Connolly, Dylan Strangmeyer, Brent Usedom, Conner Jurich, Joel Jurich, Jordan Donaghy, Dylan Thrush and Bradley Buenz invoked memories of the old steel curtain last week by shutting out a rebuilt 49er offense.

The Ravens offense was led by the tough blocking of Francisco Regalado, Brent Bockover, Brendan Jenkins, Hunter Capilla, Buenz, Dion Drew and Sean Kenney.

The game was tense down to the last minute as the 49ers made a last ditch effort to tie or win the game, but Moreno came up with a huge interception to seal the victory with just minutes left in the game.

Game stats: Connolly 8/57, Moreno 5/30, Nick Johnson 1/8, Eldridge 1 catch 20 yards. Sacks: Strangmeyer, 1 and Agharanya, 1.
Intermediate Contact Division Colts 12, Raiders 0

On a soggy, rain-swept field, the Colts scored on the first drive following a 65-yard punt return by Chris O'Neill. Jack Sieverding ripped off two big runs off tackle and O'Neill took it the final two yards for his first score behind the crisp blocking of Joe Xavier, Jason Haycock, and Shane Townsend.

The Colts defense put on a fierce rush throughout the game with O'Neill making 12 tackles, one sack; Garrett Moore, eight tackles, one sack and Seth Benson, six tackles, one sack.

Carter Ridgway was an awesome blocker on offense and had two fumble recoveries and stripped the ball playing on defense. On the second drive of the third quarter, O'Neill got his second score on a three-yard scamper, which was set up by a Matt Beadle to O'Neill pass for 25 yards.

The Colt cheerleaders kept the team and the fans fired up with their enthusiasm throughout the rainy weather.

Rushing stats: Sieverding 14 for 74 yards, O'Neill7 for 36 yards.
Broncos 7 Panthers 6.

Cameron Ashtiani had the play of the game causing a touch back on a sure touchdown by the Panthers. He ran all the way across the field to knock the ball loose and out of the end zone.

The only Broncos score was a half-back pass from Mike Thofanopoulous to Brett Shoemake with David Camarena kicking the deciding point.
Advanced Contact Division Chiefs 6 Cowboys 0

Parker Morrison's fumble recovery set-up Kean Stancil for the only score as the Chiefs defeated the Cowboys for the third time this season.

Lewis Santos and Tyler Christensen were the defensive standouts and Chase Aura led the offensive attack.
Jaguars battle Cowboys

Oscar Harris and Patrick Lynch each scored touchdowns and Chris Keck had an interception and 25-yard return. Harris rushed for 158 yards and Lynch added another 64. Leading tacklers were Patrick Lynch, Cody Hohl, Chris Keck, Sean Brohy and Matt Banahan.
Senior Contact Division Titans 25, Dolphins 6

Amazing work by offensive and defensive lines led to the Titans victory over the Dolphins. Avriett one-yard run for touchdown, Nittoli eight-yard pass to Avriett touchdown, Nittoli run for touchdown, Isquirdo interception, Nittoli 40-yard pass to Liu touchdown.
Dolphins lose 25-6 to Titans

Down 12-6 at half, the Dolphins saw too late second half scores seal the game. Jason Vincent and T.J. Grimmer hooked up in the air for the only score.

Ryan Way, J.T. Bauman, Kris Adkins and Mike Sullivan combined for 55 tackles.

Taylor Morrell had a goal line tackle to stop a touchdown. Brenden Hamilton caused two fumbles and had two sacks.
