Weddings

Lisha Renee Modesitt and Ken Steven Erez were married June 28, 2003, at Peachwoods at the Inn at Pasatiempo in Santa Cruz.

Lisha is the daughter of the late Mark Modesitt and Michelle Modesitt of Pleasanton. She graduated from Amador Valley High in 1994 and attended UC Davis, graduating from that university in 1998 with a degree in human development. She is currently employed as a program manager for developmentally disabled adults at Community Options in San Jose.

Ken is the son of Leah and Nezdet Erez of Ben Lomond. He graduated from San Lorenzo Valley High in Felton and also attended UC Davis until 1997, earning partial credits toward a degree in psychology. He is a customer account representative for Borland Software Corp. in Scotts Valley.

The couple met while working as acute crisis center counselors at The House at UC Davis. They became close friends before dating and marrying.

Lisha and Ken honeymooned in Hawaii and have made their home in Ben Lomond.
