Yes. I wrote a letter to the Beatles. Not a very exciting response - actually no response. I have sent letters to past presidents and did get letters back from Bush and Clinton.

Skankin' Pickles. They were around about 10 years ago. They are a Ska band, an offshoot of Reggae. They printed my letter in their fan newsletter.

I wrote a fan letter to Henry Winkler, the Fonz. I got back an 8-by-10 signed glossy photo of the Fonz. It had his signature, and it said, "Stay cool, Amy."

When I was a boy I thought it was cool that me and Paul McCartney had the same birthday of June 18, so I wrote him a letter. I never got anything back.
