Takin' out the trash Takin' out the trash (September 24, 2004)

Scout troops and families from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, worked along 11.1 miles of Pleasanton arroyos to haul out 4,873 pounds of trash, 126 pounds that were recyclable in last weekend's 20th annual California Coastal Cleanup Day. They found 43 tires, two water softeners and one water heater. The local event is sponsored by the city of Pleasanton and Zone 7 Water Agency.
