Those auditioning for vocal roles should come prepared to sing their favorite Christmas carol.

The schedule is as follows: ¥ Vocals: 7-10 p.m., Monday, Oct. 4 ¥ Youths 6-14: 7-10 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 5 ¥ Adults: 7-10 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 6 ¥ Callbacks: 7-10 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 7

Auditions will be held at the Amador Theater, 1155 Santa Rita Road, on the Amador Valley High School campus.

"A Christmas Carol" will be directed by Kevin Staszkow, using an adaptation made by the Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis. The performances will be Dec. 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12. It will be performed as part of the city's School Concert Series on Dec. 7, 8 and 9, 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
