What are your future plans now that you're graduating? Asked of seniors at Amador Valley High School

Lacie McFarland, 17
I'm going to the University of California at San Diego to double major in political science and aeronautical engineering. However, I expect that the political science will be more in the direction of my career.

Anthony D'Albora, 17
I plan to major in radio and television broadcasting at Chico State, and then to work toward a career in covering major league baseball. I've played here and will play at Chico State. I want to stay involved in the sport as a coach or in broadcasting.

Nicole Melton, 18
I'll be attending Whitworth College next year in Spokane, majoring in psychology and political science, with my ultimate goal to become a lawyer. Whitworth is a small, family-oriented college in a beautiful part of the state. I'm looking forward to it.

Kristin MacDonnell, 18
I'll be attending UC San Diego, majoring in political science. I'm also considering law school, but my plan is to become a writer for a newsmagazine like Newsweek, and I also want to write a novel.

Nicole Barlow, 17
I'm going to UC Berkeley to major in Spanish. I was an exchange student as part of the Pleasanton Sister City program in Tulancingo, which sparked my interest in Spanish. I hope to study abroad and then pursue a career in Latin America as a diplomat and also teaching.
