Weddings

Theodora Ploumidis and Jason Georgatos were married Jan. 19 in a ceremony held at the Albury Greek Orthodox Church in Albury, Australia. A reception followed the ceremony at the Commercial Club, also in Albury.

Theodora is the daughter of Spiro and Chryssoula Ploumidis of Albury, Australia. She graduated from high school in 1998 and from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2004.

Jason is the son of Dean and Debbie Georgatos of Pleasanton. He graduated from a San Jose high school in 1997, UC Santa Barbara in 2001 and Oxford University in England in 2002, where he earned a master's degree in Roman-Greco history. He is an associate with Silicon Valley Bank in San Francisco.

The couple honeymooned in Australia and currently reside in San Francisco.
