The Pleasanton library will close for minor remodeling from Wednesday-Friday, May 26-28. It will reopen for normal business Saturday, May 29.

New shelving will be added, and the new-book area will be redesigned for browsing. The self-checkout machines will be moved to a more accessible and central location. Improvements will also be made to the lobby, and new electrical and data lines will be added.

No library materials are due while the library is closed; all due dates will be extended until May 29. Online services will continue during the closure.

Anyone who must visit a library during the closure may wish to go to the new library in Dublin, 200 Civic Plaza, just off Dublin Boulevard, or the new Livermore Library at 1188 S. Livermore Ave.
