(April 16, 2004) Patricia Belecky
Longtime Pleasanton resident Patricia Belecky died April 3. She was 70.
Born in San Mateo County on Sept. 20, 1933, she was raised in Cheyenne, Wyo., where she met her husband of 52 years, Frank Belecky. She lived in Pleasanton for the last 29 years.
She devoted her life to being a wife, mother, grandmother and hospital Eucharist minister. She loved spending time with her family as well as attending weekly Bible study, her prayer group, attending Christian retreats and listening to Christian music. She was a former volunteer coordinator for Hope Hospice.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Steve and Michael Belecky, both of Pleasanton; a daughter, Cynthia King of Tracy; a daughter-in-law, Mari Belecky of Pleasanton; a brother and sister; four grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews.
A Mass celebrating her life was held at St. Augustine Catholic Church, and burial was held at St. Augustine Cemetery.
