Weddings

Cynthia Alcorn Canalita married Reggie Lloyd Decker at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church on Jan. 31. A reception was held at Ruby Hill Golf Club, where the couple arrived in a horse-drawn carriage.

The couple met while attending astronomy class at Sacramento State, where they both graduated in 1999. Cynthia earned a communications degree and Reggie, a business degree.

Cynthia is the daughter of Manuel and Dolores Canalita of Pasadena and formerly of Antioch. She is currently a sales representative for Albert Uster Imports.

Reggie is the son of Rick and Susie Decker of Pleasanton, and he is a public works inspector for the city of Oakley.

The bride's sister, Denise Tryner, served as matron-of-honor, and Rick and Randy Decker, brothers of the groom, both served as best man.

The couple honeymooned in the French Polynesian Island of Moorea and currently reside in Roseville.
