Patrick J. McCabe

Patrick J. McCabe, a Pleasanton resident, died Feb. 12 at the age of 71.

He is survived by his son, Michael McCabe of Hermosa Beach; his daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Mark Causey, and granddaughter Savannah, all of Mammoth Lakes, Calif.

A memorial service was held at San Ramon Royal Vista Golf Course. Jaime T. Comendador

Jaime T. Comendador, 59, died at his home Feb. 19.

A 28-year resident of Pleasanton, he was a native of the Philippines and a graduate of Feati University Manila. He was a machinist at Norton Industries for 16 years and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Teresita Comendador; his son, Jason V. Comendador of Pleasanton; a brother, Demetrio Comendador of the Philippines; and a sister, Felisa Tuico Chiponcian of Van Nuys.

He was interred in the Philippines.
Edward A. Kilroy

Edward A. (E.A.) Kilroy III, a Pleasanton resident, died Feb. 22 at the age of 49. He will be remembered for his intelligence and great sense of humor.

Born in Cleveland, he was a 1970 graduate of the Hawken School for Boys. He graduated from University of Houston and attended the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. He was employed by Orbit Software in Richmond, Calif.

He is survived by his wife, Valinda; two children, Edward (Teddy) A. Kilroy IV and Jennifer; his parents, Edward A. Kilroy Jr. and Angela M. Kilroy of Cleveland; and four siblings, Missy Moorhead of New York, Michael B. Kilroy of Chesterland, Ohio, Gregory T. Kilroy of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and William S. Kilroy II of South Russell, Ohio.

A memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Elizabeth Seton and he was interred at Oakmont Memorial Park, Lafayette.
Armando Colon

Armando Colon, 80, died Feb. 24. He was a Pleasanton resident for 17 years.

Born in Puerto Rico in 1921, he worked as a jeweler with David Freeman & Sons for 15 years. He attended Faith Chapel.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Maria Colon; a daughter, Idalizsa Torres of Santa Cruz; three grandchildren, Bobby Masisonet, Lyssette Torres and Joshua Torres; and two great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Jessica.
Bernard L. Kemp

Bernard L. Kemp, a resident of Castro Valley, died Feb. 25 at the age of 87.

An Oakland native, he graduated from Oakland Technical High School in 1932. He was a parts salesman with GMC Motor Trucks for 30 years.

A resident of Hayward, he enjoyed gardening, camping, horseback riding, watching cooking shows on television, playing and watching basketball, and telling stories about his youth.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Harriett Kemp; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Gene Alaux of Livermore; and a son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Rhonda Kemp of Pleasanton.

Burial was held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Livermore.
Marlene Ann Silva

Marlene Ann Silva, a 12-year Pleasanton resident, died March 1 at the age of 57.

She was a California native and a 1962 graduate of Amador Valley High School. She was employed at Bank of the West in Pleasanton for seven years, and she loved her cat, Magoo.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Mattos of Pleasanton; two daughters, Jamie Taylor of Brentwood and Jessica Clary of Monterey; and four grandchildren.

Burial was held at St. Augustine's Cemetery.
