Couples: Thanks

Uploaded: Feb 22, 2019
I was out ill for a week a while back, and needed minor surgery. I often remind clients to say thanks to their partner for all s/he does, and to share specific appreciation as well.

I won't bore you with all the sappy details of the litany of good deeds my husband does. But here's the short list:

Thank you for staying by my side.
Thank you for being my champion and advocate.
Thank you for the yellow rose.
Thank you for rubbing my shoulders.
Thank you for making me laugh.
You're getting to be a pretty good cook, too.

Think of one thing you can genuinely say thanks to your partner for every day -- and say it, specifically.
Democracy.
What is it worth to you?

This article struck me to the heart, short but powerful words especially this last paragraph "Think of one thing you can genuinely say thanks to your partner for every day -- and say it, specifically."

Thanks for reminding me to thank my partner.

This was great! And true, all at the same time.
