Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Last June I was the camp counselor for Camp Kesem, and wrote a column from there called Dear Mom. Camp Kesem is a year-round community and one-week free summer camp for children whose parents have or have had cancer, giving life-changing experiences to more than 130 campers, 90 families, and 74 counselors each year. The week of camp is a chance for kids to just be kids, without cancer looming. The Stanford students who plan Camp raise funds so families can participate without the worry of cost.

Make the Magic Dinner Gala and Silent Auction is Camp Kesem’s largest fundraiser of the year and will take place on Sunday, November 6th at the Tresidder Memorial Union, Oak Lounge, at Stanford University. Doors open at 5:30 for silent auction bidding and appetizers. Attendees will enjoy a buffet dinner and testimonials from various members of the Camp Kesem community.

Please register and support this amazing organization. hope to see you there.
