San Ramon and Danville take on San Francisco on KGO

My recent story -- "25 reasons NOT to go to San Francisco" -- got some play across the bay Tuesday as I defended this area on KGO. I think I won. Chris Brecher took San Francisco's side as we rolled through the top few reasons.

San Ramon isn't "low rent Danville." Danville and Alamo are the high rent side (read snooty) of the San Ramon Valley.

My sister and her husband live in San Francisco, and they would like me to come there more often, but they come out here a few times a year for Jazz at the Library and events at Forest Home Farms.

My brother-in-law especially loves the sheep dog demonstrations. It's too bad they didn't hold Sheep Shearing Day this year. I hope it will be back next year.
