Andrea Bloom and Mitch Levinson

Andrea Bloom and Mitch Levinson were married Sept. 2 over Labor Day weekend at Elliston Vineyards in Sunol. They were joined by their five children, ages 11 through 23, their four parents, extended family and close friends. It was a celebration of merging two families.

Andrea and Mitch are both long-time residents of Pleasanton, where they have been raising their children and have founded healthcare companies.

Mitch was the founding CEO of Pleasanton-based Zeltiq Aesthetics. In 2010, he founded Cerebrotech Medical Systems, which is developing a brain monitoring device for patients after stroke or brain trauma.

Andrea had her own diabetes consultancy where she advised diabetes devices and services companies on new products for people with diabetes. In 2010 she founded ConnectWell, a corporate wellness company that engages people in sustainable wellness practices to reverse chronic disease trends.

The couple honeymooned in Italy where they hiked the Cinque Terre, explored Tuscany, and spent three days in Venice.
