Mason-McDuffie names James chief of Pleasanton office
Responsibilities include Tri-Valley, Fremont areas

Jackie James, a seasoned manager in the real estate industry, has taken over management of the Mason-McDuffie Mortgage Corporation's office at 4301 Hacienda Drive in Pleasanton.
A long-time resident of Pleasanton, James has managed loan officers for 22 years in her 27-year career. She's spent most of her career in the Tri-Valley after starting in the Fremont area.
She has worked for Home Savings and First Nationwide as well as managing a large retail operation for a mortgage broker for eight-and-a-half years. As the Pleasanton office manager, she will be responsible for the Tri-Valley and the Fremont-Newark-Union City areas as well as for recruiting additional experienced loan officers.
"What attracted me to Mason-McDuffie is that it's not as difficult to get things done because the firm doesn't have many layers of management," James said. "And, they know these markets."
She holds both California and national mortgage licenses and is an affiliate member of the Bay East Association of Realtors. She has been recognized as affiliate of the year for her service to the organization.
