Drug bust at Motel 6

A routine check of cars at Motel 6 on May 25 led to multiple felonies for a Roseville man.

A vehicle parked in the lot was registered to a man who had an active felony warrant for drug possession; when police entered the man's room, he was found to have drugs and paraphernalia -- and a 16-year-old girl in the room as well.

Erik Aires, 19, was arrested around 1:46 a.m. for soliciting a minor for drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia possession.

In other police reports:

Jason Camacho, 31, of Morgan Hill, was arrested for indecent exposure.

* A May 23 burglary at a home in the 5600 block of Springhouse Drive netted a $1,200 laptop, a $350 tablet computer, a Nintendo Wii and a Sony Playstation, valued at $150 apiece. Under the law, those arrested are considered innocent until convicted.
