An evening with Teddy RooseveltThe Museum on Main invites everyone to spend "An Evening with President Teddy Roosevelt," beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Firehouse Arts Center. It's part of the Ed Kinney Lecture Series, in which this year's audiences come face to face with famous people through actors who look and sound as if they have stepped from the pages of history books.
Museum presents 26th president
Teddy Roosevelt, the 26th president of the United State, was a naturalist, explorer, author and soldier, as well as a politician. He is portrayed by Fred Rutledge; this month's event is sponsored by Rebecca Bruner.
The speakers series takes place monthly January through October at the Firehouse Arts Center, 4444 Railroad Ave. Tickets can be reserved in advance at www.museumonmain.org or by calling the Museum on Main at 462-2766.
Ticket prices: $10 general admission; $5 members and seniors; $3 students/teachers with ID, to be paid at the door. All tickets are open seating and after 6:45 p.m. unclaimed reserved tickets will be released for sale.
