Special torch runs through town

Pleasanton police Officer Anthony Pittl accompanied Officer Erik Silacci as he carried the Special Olympics "Flame of Hope" along Owens Drive last week. Each year, the Law Enforcement Torch Run makes its way though communities in the Bay Area in advance of the Special Olympics of Northern California Summer Games, which were held at UC Davis last weekend.
