TV30 to air prep football
Shows to include field reporting and interviews
Tri-Valley Community TV30 will broadcast five Tri-Valley high school football games for the first time starting this weekend.
The games, played on Friday nights, will be broadcast the next day. Hosts from TV30 will include Ian Bartholomew, George "Dr. B" Baljevich and field reporting by Anna Kagarakis. Interviews during the game will include coaches, students and mayors.
The following games are scheduled:
* Oct. 15 -- Livermore at California High
* Oct. 22 -- Cal High at Granada
* Oct. 29 -- Monte Vista at Foothill
* Nov. 5 -- San Ramon Valley at Amador Valley
* Nov. 12 -- Dublin at Dougherty Valley
"Production of this type is new for Tri-Valley TV," said Melissa Tench-Stevens, executive director at TVCTV. "Last year we only broadcast one game so we could see what the feedback from the community would be. We received such an enthusiastic response we have increased our coverage to five games this year."
"We truly appreciate the underwriters from our community who have provided generous support and stepped up to make this happen," she added.
For complete air dates and times, visit the Tri-Valley TV web site at www.trivalleytv.org. In addition, the games will be available via Video on Demand at the website the following Monday. DVDs of the games may also be purchased.
Tri-Valley Community Television provides programming over channels TV28, TV29 and TV30 on Comcast Cable, over AT&T U-Verse channel 99, and live streaming on its website.
