Scholarship for achievements
Caroline Federighi, a 2010 Amador Valley High School graduate, received a $6,000 scholarship from the Operating Engineers Local 3 construction union. Many of her family members belong to Local 3, including her father and two brothers.
Federighi won the first-place female scholarship for her academic and extra-curricular achievements throughout high school. She was a member of the California Scholarship Foundation (CSF) for all four years and also belonged to Girls Exploring Technology, Science and Engineering Together (GETSET). She was the captain of the varsity lacrosse team and received the Scholar Athlete Award for lacrosse in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
She is attending the University of Oregon to play lacrosse and study human physiology/pre-med.
