Shannon Helton and Thomas Durbala

Shannon Helton and Thomas Durbala were married on Sept. 9 at Wente Vineyards in Livermore. Reverend Timothy Mills officiated the ceremony. A gorgeous reception followed at the winery, where 100 friends and family dined and danced into the evening.

Shannon is the daughter of Carley and Laura Helton of Middletown, Calif. and (the late) Patricia Helton of Pleasanton. For her wedding, the bride chose a beautiful white dress with beads and embroidery. Her attendants were Jacki Rulo, her best friend and maid of honor, Saida Montalvo, Deborah Gutierrez and Brenda Murphy.

Thomas is the son of George and Sarah Durbala of Rio Vista, Calif. His attendants were Adam Mcleod, as his best man, Orlando Cota, Zeke Pratt and Niloy Chatterjee.

The couple, which met in 2004, honeymooned in Mexico, and reside in Pleasanton.
