Engagement

Shannon Helton & Thomas Durbala

Carley & Laura Helton of Middletown, Calif. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Shannon Helton (only daughter of the late Patricia Helton of Pleasanton) to Thomas Durbala, son of George and Sarah Durbala of Rio Vista, Calif.

Shannon and Tom reside in with their beautiful cherished dogs, 12-year-old Chelsea, a whippet mix, and 4-year-old Hazel, a terrier mix. They share a love for the outdoors and traveling in their motor home. She works as a Loan Processor in Pleasanton and he works as a General Contractor in Concord.

After dating for two years, Tom proposed to Shannon while on a flight to Las Vegas. Her tears from fear of flying quickly turned to tears of joy. The wedding will take place Sept. 9, 2007 in Livermore Valley.
