There are so many problems in our society far worse than gun ownership, which is the foundation of our Constitutional freedoms. To wit: Just you TRY and take someone's freedom away and they'll shoot you. I think James Madison said that.
Of what significance is gun ownership compared to voter fraud? You see, the half dozen or so cases of voter fraud over the past ten years is far more pressing than a not-so-occasional wacko exercising his 2nd Amendment rights by slaughtering human beings with a military assault weapon.
California gun laws are already very strict. Like, you have to take a test and score 18 out of 25. And if you fail it, you are provided the answers and then you must retake the very same test, until you you pass it or until the gunshop owner gets tired of waiting on your repeated efforts and goes off to attend to some other patriotic customer.
No, the real problem isn't guns. It's that young impoverished and desperate black males have procured guns from responsible owners and then gone ballistic in our schools. How many of the shootings at schools, after all, have been committed by inner city black youths who have stolen military assault weapons from patriotic suburbanites? That's the real crime, which needs to be addressed but not with MY tax money.
I rest my case. Let's slow things down until we're able to logically sort through all the relevant facts.
