A new climate action plan from our President, a preview
Original post made by WH advisor on Jun 23, 2013
The President has worked on this for 5 1/2 years, so you know it's gonna be good. But in fact, the idea is not new.
Circumventing the Congress, Barack Obama's administration want you to know that "controls on greenhouse gas emissions from power plants would be a major focus" of this new plan. Remember, he already told us about this plan?
"Coal powered plants, natural gas, you name it, they will have to retrofit operations, that will cost money, they will pass that on to consumers"

liberalism is a disease is a registered user.
Ironically, plug in vehicle owners will get to feel even more pain ' at the plug'. LOL. Proving once again, there's no free (or permanently subsidized) lunch.
Time to pay up, you self righteous elitists.
By the way, this line was hilarious: "The President has worked on this for 5 1/2 years, so you know it's gonna be good." Thinly veiled sarcasm, that, eh?

The president seems to be worried about future generations when it comes to global warming and its consequences. But there are far greater evils to worry about than pollution, rising oceans, droughts, and the like. I refer specifically to tax hikes, which are of far greater consequence. With money you save on taxes, you can buy gas masks, inner tubes, and 24 packs of plastic water bottles. But without money, after the government takes everything beyond the 13% rate I've been paying all these onerous years, we'll be unable to prepare adequately for the tsunami that will coming washing over us. First they came and taxed our cigarettes; next our tanning salons; now they're taking our guns from us; and it's only a matter of time before they take all our money. What then? Will Obama and his people demand our daughters? It's coming, people. Noah only had a flood to deal with. Ever see a global tsunami?

Have you taken a drive in a Tesla? In my book, it doesn't get much better than than that. Nothing self-righteous about owning one for me. It is just a really nice car.
As to the president's plan, I'm guessing he's making some concessions to environmentalists as part of a package that includes approving the new pipeline from Alaska. Now if only we get more nuclear power plants built...
