This is so sad. This is confusing? How did 5 young ladies die? A fire starts, they must have banged on the "glass" that separates them and the driver and let him know? not trying to put blame, but something doesn't add up here. A fire starts, why didn't he pull over immediately and they get out? God bless the famlies of all...
very very suspicious...very very spooky...
Electrical fire . electric doors/windows . electrical intercom = deathtrap!
Such a tragic story. Sincerest sympathies to the women involved and all of their families. Rest in peace.
Agree, something doesn't add up and suspicious. I suppose the fire could have cut the power to the electric door locks and windows. This would prevent people from inside getting out and people outside from being able to open the door as well. If this was the case, the only other option would have been to break the windows. So why couldn't the driver or escapees break the windows? Don't know. I never tried to break a car window with bare hands and/or feet so I can't say if it's even possible. The escapees being all women probably did not help matters...their high heels would have rendered them trying to kick in the windows with their bare feet...then there's hysteria. Ok, then how about the driver? He would have had shoes on. Shame on him if he did not try to kick in the windows. If he did try and failured, then he is off the hook. Being on the bridge also did not help matters. One would probably not be able to find a rock or some tool to break the window. So sad.
yes to last post... kicking out windows, etc. surely they were in a panick, poor girls, but just feels more could have been done here...? I guess no it doesn't matter now...it just seems off.
I hate to be a cynic here, but could drugs be involved somehow - something along the lines of the Richard Pryor incident of long ago? How very, very tragic.
