My name is Sabari Somanathan and I am a Sophomore at Amador Valley High School looking to make real change in the Pleasanton community, namely the School District. After reading the Town Square forums along with many other political books about change and reform, I feel like a student who is driven to speak up is what has been missing in this town.
Being a student who is constantly engaged with schoolwork, it is hard to stay updated on what is actually going on within the school district and community. This prevents me from bringing up any real topics for which to pass legislation or bring up debates. For this I ask of the Town Square community to share your ideas with me as to how I may proceed with this task of mine, and what topics I should work towards.
I thank all of you for your time and look forward to hearing from you all.
