From the bottom of my heart, I want to say Thank You for all that you do for our students. The tragedy on Friday has affected me deeply as a parent. I can only imagine as a teacher, how it has affected you.
We have only been in PUSD for a short while, but I have come in contact a number of teachers at Hart and Foothill. Every teacher has been kind and caring. The love these teachers feel for the students is evident.
I truly know if something like this had occurred in Pleasanton, that any of you would have done all you could to protect our students and if necessary, you would have stepped in front of a bullet for our kids.
In a community where teachers are caught up in policy and politics, I want to say that YOU ARE APPRECIATED AND LOVED. Teaching is a difficult profession but each of you have stepped up to the challenge.
THANK YOU for all you do. MANY BLESSINGS to you and your family this holiday season.
