I think you have this backwards...Freshman game plays first, or even today, Wednesday; then the JV game plays...Varsity starts at 7pm.

According to PUSD eConnection:

Due to a scheduled furlough day, the Amador Valley/Foothill varsity and JV football games have been moved to Thursday, November 11, at Amador Valley. The frosh game will be held on Wednesday, November 10.

A Neighbor,

Yup, exactly what you said: Web Link

Looks like they are using the cover of Veterans Day when talking to The Weekly to explain the change when it is only because of furloughs. Why the doublespeak though?

For those who were at the game last night for the Freshmen @ Foothill, the Foothill Quarter Back is in good spirit but has a broken femur, is the word i got. We wish Max a quick recovery. Foothill dominated the game with some great running from Touchdown Tommy and Vos getting it done. Score 31 to 6. (i think?) Good job Foothill Freshmen. Keep up the good work.

Well I was a little off on the Freshmen score, i should have said 48 to 13. Oops!
Last night was very fun to watch and great to see all the hoopla from the teams and fans. Foothill squeaks out a win on both the games. Great job from all. Great to see the town come together in one place like that.
