Have you contacted the PMS administration?

Prior to posting issues on this forum, you should go through the steps of talking to the people responsible for ensuring our children are in a safe and comfortable environment at all times while they are at school.

If you have talked to them already, then you should also post their response so that we see the full story.

I agree about posting the full story. Perhaps the kids trash the room and that is why they are kept out. Maybe not. But until we know both sides this is just a way to throw darts at one side.

Above post is correct. When a complaint is aired it should be followed with, "So what I did..." and then the results. Example...
I did not like how X was doing Y so I contacted X and Z resulted. Isn't that horrible/great?
My opinion, because believe it or not it might be cool to not eat in the gym or something. Total guess but that is what someone might think until you contact PMS and get a responce.

Here, here! Excellent letter to the public "Parent of PMS Student". FREE SPEACH FORUMS...

And shame on the commentators for bullying the writer into their process of just "how you PMS Parent should complain". Absolutely non of these commentators have expressed one drip of empathy for our kids who are ushered to the cold every single winter school day.

Additionally, "More Information" presents the students to the reader in a derogatory light, accusing the kids to the readers that "perhaps the kids trash the room and that is why they are kept out. Maybe not". PMS Parent has stated, they have been doing this for years... again, no concern at all for our kids only defense how this article "looks" in the public eye scolding parent for publicly expressing their concerns...

Quite possibly are these commentators employees or better yet family of school employees?

PMS Parent, I do look forward to your follow up and hoping the school will shelter the children INSIDE during the winter as parents would expect.

The kids at Pleasanton Middle are always allowed to eat inside when the weather is cold and/or wet. This past week they ate in the gymnasium. Don't know why these rumors exist.
