Is Downtown Haunted?

Original post made by Is it true, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Jun 30, 2009

I stumbled upon this article...

I had no idea and it is kind of creepy to think about.

Anyone had any experience with this?

I have heard the same. I've lived in Pleasanton all my live 45+ years. I had a cousin who used to play in a band at the Pleasanton Hotel over 25 years ago. He had some interesting stories about pennies falling from the ceiling after closing time. Maybe nothing...but interesting?? If Downtown Pleasanton is haunted...the spirits are only happy one's....!

Before they tore down the old St. Vincent DePaul building you could "feel" something in that place, as if it was a ghostly meeting hall. I don't know what it was before it became the St. Vincent thrift store, but the "spirits" were not leaving.
What makes you post so eerie is that I was walking/jogging past there this morning and thought about the haunted past. I don't think they left. Ya its all true.

No, it isn't haunted!

Why would it be? There is NO such thing as a ghost!

Anyone who states otherwise is simply egging you on or just plain silly!

Now, if you want to talk about strange residents, I'm with ya on that! :)

When we moved here 10 years ago, I could sense ghosts in the downtown area. The pizza place and the Pleasanton Hotel were alive with spirits. They do not seem to be angry, just confused. Around the full moon, go downtown and let your senses be open. You'll sense or see them too.
