Council calls for quick action on downtown stimulus plan

The Pleasanton City Council last night turned its attention to creating a local economic stimulus package to help its struggling downtown retailers and to work with business and property owners to strengthen shopping locally.

I agree to the comments in this report. I only wish this would have taken place before I was forced to close my business, so better late than never. Perhaps now that everyone that needs to be notified of our decline in Downtown Pleasanton, City Council, City Manager and Economic Development Director, who else needs to be notified in order to get the ball rolling? This decline has been going on for a couple of years now.... and the snowball is getting bigger by the month.
