Driver killed when car hits tree off I-680 near Bernal exit in Pleasanton

A driver was killed when her SUV crashed into a tree and went down an embankment yesterday off Interstate Highway 680 in Pleasanton, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Let's hope this was not caused by distracted driving.....no one should pay the ultimate price for using a cell phone and driving.

It is logical that there will be car crashes due to distracted driving. It is logical that there will be consequences to acts. You're saying, "No one should suffer the consequences of their actions". Okay, well, sometimes reality intervenes with that sentiment.
