Tri-Valley cities to keep funding Washington-savvy consultant despite San Ramon dropping out

Pleasanton Mayor Jerry Thorne said this week that he and other Tri-Valley mayors will keep working with a local consulting group to plan lobbying trips to Washington, D.C. despite the decision by Mayor Bill Clarkson and the San Ramon City Council to bow out of the annual planning effort.
