Dedication at 11 a.m. today to honor Pleasanton soldier killed in Afghanistan

A memorial garden will be dedicated at 11 a.m. this morning in honor of U.S. Army Specialist Jameson Lindskog, a Pleasanton resident and combat medic who died while providing first aid to other troops in his squadron during a firefight in Afghanistan two years ago, on March 29, 2011.

Jameson was and will forever be an American Hero who gave his life to save others. He will never be forgotten.

Even now, my heart aches for Donna at this great loss of her beloved son.

Praying that Spc Lindskog's family will find comfort at the dedication of the memorial garden tomorrow and in the years ahead.
